Faith

We believe that Gospel values should be evident and that a Catholic worldview must permeate all facets of the educational climate.  Participation in prayer, the Sacraments, and devotions are essential to our mission.  We affirm that both faith and reason are necessary for students to strive for the fullness of truth, which informs their freedom, leads to just actions and equips them with the tools necessary to transform the culture through the practice of faith.

Reason

The study of academics is a study of truth revealed by our Creator. The curriculum at OurLC embraces the best of traditional Catholic education at its foundation, including phonics, reading, writing, cursive, math, memorization, and oral presentation in the lower grades.  Older students will build upon this foundation at the high school level, learning skills including critical thinking, reasoning, and the proper use and place of technology to develop as leaders, providers, and productive citizens.

Support

The reality is that our financially independent school will no longer depend on the significant monies provided by parishes that support a diocesan institution. Our school will rely on tuition, donor funds, and funds raised through grants and tax credits.
