EITC GUIDE (Educational Improvement Tax Credit)
Individuals and Businesses can direct PA State Taxes you already owe to OLC Students! OLC receives 100% of your contribution, and you receive a 90% tax credit! It is a simple and easy to turn tax dollars into scholarships and aid for students at OLC.
If you owe $1000 or more in tax liability you are eligible to participate-
Follow these steps:
STEP 1: (Spring/Summer) Determine your annual PA state income tax liability (Line 12 of your PA-40 form).
STEP 2: (Spring/Summer) Sign the PLEDGE FORM with the amount of your contribution directed to OLC.
STEP 3: (Fall) Once notified your request is approved, receive and sign your DocuSign Email and mail your check.
STEP 4: (February/March) Receive your K-1 tax form to file with your taxes that gives you a 90% credit for your contribution.
STEP 5: (Summer) Receive your tax credit and use it toward your next EITC contribution!
